International Fairytale Tracking Championship

For the fifth year in a row, the public library staff is implementing a project to revive old Lithuanian traditions, honor the best followers of fairy tales, invite people of different generations to an event that is expected to be equally interesting, significant, uniting people of different generations, social strata and specialties. social exclusion and the community concerned.

During the event, your own creations and already known tales will be followed. The chairman of the evaluation commission, ethnologist Gražina Kadžytė, will consult the participants, comment on their performances, and Teta Beta (Bernadeta Lukošiūtė) will follow the tale. During the championship, exhibitions of fairy tale books (for adults, children, critical literature) will be presented in different sections and branches of the Public Library. The children's writers' music group "CHILDREN'S BOOKS" (Benas Bėrantas, Tomas Dirgėla, Virgis Šidlauskas and Justinas Žilinskas) will present an adventurous musical program.

The fairytale tracking championship starts at 10.00.

After the championship, a CD of the most beautifully followed and tales of the championship winners will be released.
