Sculpture „A clog carver“
The sculpture „A clog carver“ was carved in 2014 during the national outdoor meeting of wood-carvers „ Jack of all trades, master of none“ in Pakiršinys. The author of this sculpture is a famous Lithuanian folk artist Jonas Dzvėga, whose works are also well know in the neighbouring Sweden. Every art work of this artisan has its history and its memories.
It is possible to notice some realities between an author and the sculpture, as we can notice some subtleties of the wood-carver‘s craft. This sculpture is like a remembrance about forgoten craft of a clog carvers in Lithuania.
