Baisogala manor is one of the most famous architectural monuments in Lithuania. From 1830, this manor belonged to the family of landowners Komarai. To this day, a central manor house, stables, a wheel building workshop, kitchen, warehouse, and a mill have survived. There is an impressive park with quite a number of exotic tree species. In 1952, the Institute of Animal Husbandry of Lithuania was established and still operates in the manor. (Now - Institute of Animal Husbandry, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences).
You can have a guided tour (in English). The manor is open for visitors on Fridays.
